"THE BANQUET"

Saturday night after the car show, a banquet that was attended by over 200 cougar fans from all over the world. The trophies were presented to the winners and more. All trophies were hand made & assembled by CCC members. Colorado "flagstone" was used so people could take back a little souvenier from Colorful Colorado. Appreciation awards were given to CCC members for all thier hard work to make this show a success. prizes were also given away during the presentation. President Gary Wilmon was the first speaker followed by Vice President Will Swari who gave a special award to Gary for 10 years of service as the club President. Dennis Berry presented Gary with the "Dinner Bell" used by the club over the past several years. The meal was excellent with no-one leaving hungry. The deserts were outstanding. The "PEOPLE'S CHOICE" was parked in the banquet room for all to drool over as an appetizer.
By the looks and the smiles it seems the 40th anniversary of the Mercury Cougar banquet and show was a great success.
